Ways in which you can support the work of Rotary

By visiting Ruthin and most of its surrounding villages in the lead-up to Christmas 2013, the club delighted children and raised over £4,000 for local good causes.

Give locally

The Rotary Club of Ruthin organises many different initiatives, activities and events for a wide variety of purposes. Some are local in scope and effect, some national, some international. If you would like to help us with fund-raising activities in and around Ruthin, or if you would like to donate to Rotary on a national or international level, please read on. Likewise, if you would like to donate funds towards Rotary initiatives and good causes focused in and around Ruthin, Denbighshire or North Wales, please see the Get Involved section of this website. Rotary club members fund 100% of their club's operating expenses by way of annual membership fees.

Give to the Rotary Foundation

The Rotary Foundation is Rotary's own charity. It is global in scope and is supported by voluntary contributions from Rotarians, friends of the Foundation and generous donations from businesses and members of the public who share its vision of a better world. Through the generosity of people like you, the foundation's work has made a difference to the lives of millions around the world. Gifts to The Rotary Foundation allow it to improve communities by promoting peace, preventing disease, bolstering economic development, and providing clean water and sanitation where needed. You can trust Rotary International

Rotary International is an organization you can trust and support with confidence. That’s why it has dedicated 88% of The Rotary Foundation’s total spending to programs over the past ten years, and minimized its administrative expenses. Its annual and financial reports are an opportunity for Rotary to be open about its spending and to show you what we can all achieve by working together for the good of others not as fortunate as ourselves.
