Do you think you'd make a good Rotarian?

As a well-established club we are always looking for new members. Helping communities and good causes at local and international levels can be rewarding yet demanding for a small team who choose to be involved. Thus the more members we have, the easier the load on individuals and the more people we can help.

Rotary does not expect its members to dig into their pockets beyond paying for their annual membership fees of just under £100 a year. These fees, by the way, pay for the club's operational expenses, meaning that all money raised for good causes goes to where it is needed. Instead, Rotary expects you to bring your professional skills and experience to bear in a way that contributes to the club's overall efforts to help others. Yes, this might involve collecting donations at Christmas or other special events (because this is often the quickest way to raise funds for sudden disasters), but more often than not it will involve using your professional contacts or resources, alongside those of your fellow members, to come up with innovative solutions towards making Ruthin and the world at large a better place to live in.
